We are seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to fill a Part-Time ESY Position
Soliant Health is a leading provider of healthcare staffing solutions, and we are currently looking for a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team for a part-time Extended School Year (ESY) position. This role offers a great opportunity to work with students during the summer session and make a positive impact on their development.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide speech and language therapy services to students in an ESY program, utilizing evidence-based practices to support student growth and development.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine student needs and progress, and develop individualized treatment plans to address these needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student development and ensure seamless communication and coordination of services.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of student progress and therapy sessions, and participate in regular team meetings to discuss student progress and treatment plans.
- Adjust treatment strategies based on student responses and progress, and stay up-to-date with best practices in the field of speech-language pathology.
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid state license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
- Previous experience working with school-aged children, preferably in an ESY setting.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team setting.
