Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as the Market House Supervisor & Float Pool Manager at Sovah Health - Danville. This role is responsible for overseeing the operations of both SOVAH Campuses, providing leadership and direction to House Supervisors, Float Pools, and sitter programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and direct the House Supervisors, Float Pools, and sitter programs to ensure seamless patient care delivery and operational efficiency.
  • Develop and implement departmental goals, plans, and standards to align with organizational and departmental philosophy and goals.
  • Act as the supervisor on duty to make management decisions, provide direction, and supervision with operational issues for all hospital departments.
  • Coordinate staffing/bed control meetings to facilitate patient throughput and appropriate patient placement.
  • Work with Director/Clinical Managers to ensure daily staffing needs are met for all nursing departments providing patient care.
  • Plan and monitor staffing activities, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives.
  • Ensure that staff meet necessary educational, certification, and license requirements of their position.
  • Prepare, monitor, and evaluate departmental budgets to ensure compliance with allocated funding.
  • Coordinate and direct internal/external audits.
  • Create and foster an environment that encourages professional growth and integrates evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols.
