Position Overview

The Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) plays a crucial role in delivering comprehensive health services to women, emphasizing a solution-focused approach. Compensation: Competitive salary range of $136,000 to $148,657.60 annually, based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive health evaluations, including detailed medical histories and physical examinations, while ordering necessary diagnostic tests.
  • Promote women's health through regular health assessments, screenings, and guidance on family planning and health maintenance.
  • Stay updated on best practices in OB/GYN and women's health to provide the highest standard of care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to educate patients and the community on preventive health measures.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
  • Participate in internal and external meetings, workshops, and committees as required.
  • Exemplify commitment to service excellence by fostering positive relationships with patients and colleagues.
  • Assist in various capacities within the clinical environment to support organizational success.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Chief Medical Officer.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of three years of experience as a WHNP or CNM is required.
  • Must possess a valid medical license in California, including DEA and CPR certifications.
  • Experience in a community health center setting is preferred.
