Position Summary:

The primary responsibility of a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is to deliver essential care to patients and assist them with daily activities they may struggle with independently, such as personal hygiene and mobility.

Due to the intimate nature of this role, it is crucial for CNAs to exhibit empathy and a genuine desire to support others.

Essential Qualifications:

Mandatory:
High School Diploma or equivalent BLS Certification from the American Heart Association only A valid nurse aide certification for long-term care facilities, registered in good standing on the NJ Nurse Aide Registry Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Preferred:

A minimum of one year of experience in long-term care Certifications and Licenses: BLS certification from the American Heart Association Current nurse assistant certification from the N.


Work Schedule:
Day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with a variable schedule based on departmental requirements Part-Time (32 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities:
Accountable for providing daily nursing care, assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), and restorative nursing care. Responsibilities include grooming, toileting, incontinence care, bathing, transferring, positioning, ambulation, feeding, and maintaining accurate documentation.
