UniFirst First Aid + Safety is in search of a dedicated and diligent Sales Representative to become a vital part of our organization. As a key member of the Sales Division, your primary responsibility will be to cultivate new business opportunities for our First Aid retail marketing through advanced selling techniques. We offer a flexible work schedule with a standard 5-day work week, allowing for two days off. Immediate openings are available, and comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided.
Compensation and Benefits:
We offer competitive hourly pay, along with a 401K plan featuring Company Match, Profit Sharing, Health Insurance, Employee Assistance Program, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, Direct Payroll Deposit, Tuition Reimbursement, a 30% Employee Discount, and bonuses for employee referrals.
Salary Range: $45,000 - $55,000 annually

Key Responsibilities:
- Promote and sell First Aid products to new clients with 75 or more employees and/or multiple locations.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities while expanding existing accounts to include additional product lines, focusing on first aid, facility services, and safety products.
- Address customer needs with solutions that foster a safe and productive work environment.
- Utilize tools such as Lead 411 to enhance your prospecting efforts.
- Design and implement a strategic 'work plan' to optimize daily sales and minimize travel time between client visits.
- Maintain a call average that aligns with company objectives.
- Drive growth by consistently scheduling appointments, making cold calls, and securing referrals for new business.
- Engage in sales meetings and execute the strategies discussed.
- Complete necessary paperwork, including work orders and expense reports.
- Ensure accurate documentation and maintain consistent paper flow.
- Communicate effectively with local and regional sales management regarding new accounts.
- Stay informed about pricing changes and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Maintain a prospect database for all developing accounts.
- Participate in promotional activities as required.
- Ensure that your personal vehicle used for business purposes is well-maintained and organized.
- Adhere to company policies as outlined in the employee handbook and field manuals.
- Keep updated on competitors, their offerings, and pricing strategies.
- Share relevant pricing and product information with colleagues during sales meetings.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is mandatory.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are essential.
- A minimum of two years of business-to-business sales experience is required.
- Proven high-level selling skills, including strong prospecting and closing abilities.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in sales.
- Demonstrated resourcefulness.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
