About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Imaging Specialist to join our team at Fulgent Genetics. As a key member of our diagnostic laboratory, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of our pathology reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform Quality Control functions on all cases, ensuring the accuracy of slides and tissue types.
  • Take digital microphotographs on designated cases for final pathology report.
  • Follow the direction of the supervisor while taking initiative in performing and promoting quality and efficiency within the department.
  • Assist in the identification and research of discrepancy cases to determine the origin of variance.
  • Perform Quality Control check of controls submitted with patient cases provided by specific TCPC clients.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's Degree in the Sciences strongly preferred.
  • One to three years previous experience working in a Gastrointestinal or Dermatopathology laboratory is preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Laboratory Information Systems.
