The Bakery Training Specialist is a key role within Panera Bread, responsible for the effective training of bakers and ensuring the quality of baked goods. This position requires strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:- Partner with General Managers to select and train a strong team of bakers.
- Develop and implement the Bakery Training Program, ensuring all bakers meet the highest standards of quality and consistency.
- Collaborate with the Lead Bakery Market Manager to identify and address any quality or operational issues.
- Facilitate bakery training sessions and workshops, providing expert guidance and support to bakers.
- Validate and reinforce bakery standards and procedures, ensuring all bakers understand and adhere to company policies.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; 6 months to 1 year of Panera bakery experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate others.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
- Up to 90% travel required, with frequent visits to bakery-cafes and other company locations.
- This position requires a mix of walking/standing during long periods, as well as some desk/office administrative work and driving between locations.
