About the Position

In the role of Mobile Growth Strategist at Seeking Alpha, you will be instrumental in propelling the company's expansion by concentrating on converting our mobile audience (web/app) into valuable subscribers.

You will oversee a crucial segment of our subscriber acquisition process, which includes strategizing experiments, managing paywalls, crafting messaging, and refining conversion pathways.

Your responsibilities will encompass enhancing the customer experience through experimentation while collaborating with a talented team of engineers, analysts, and designers.

We seek an individual who can collaborate across various internal departments, gain a profound understanding of our clientele and acquisition funnels, maintain a mobile growth focus, and drive essential metrics.

Compensation
The salary range for this role is between $110,000 and $140,000 annually, influenced by factors such as relevant experience, location, business requirements, and market conditions.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead our mobile conversion initiatives, which span diverse product lines and channels.
  • Shape the vision, strategy, and processes that facilitate Seeking Alpha's transition to a mobile-centric model.
  • Oversee every phase of the product development cycle, from ideation and hypothesis creation to launch, learning, and subsequent iterations.
  • Maintain a strong focus on conversion metrics, experimentation, and user experience.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with design, development, and data teams to implement and refine your initiatives.
  • Work closely with the customer acquisition team to explore new channels and optimize strategies tailored to mobile traffic sources.
  • Be data-driven while remaining receptive to user feedback.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of practical experience in mobile growth.
  • A solid foundation in investing and equity markets.
  • Detail-oriented with clear and effective communication skills.
  • Exceptional product management capabilities, including specification writing, mockups, and data analysis.
  • Experience collaborating with developers on a technical level.
  • A highly cooperative, team-focused individual comfortable with dynamic environments and iterative projects.
  • A strong enthusiasm for mobile growth.
  • Experience in a publishing or subscription-based business is highly desirable.
