Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Merchandiser Travel Retail Service Lead to join our team at Acosta Group. As a key member of our retail merchandising team, you will be responsible for leading a team and performing reset and remodel work, including implementing plan-o-grams, new item placement, void corrections, and special merchandising activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team in the organization and execution of reset and remodel work, effectively partnering with store personnel for scheduling and communication.
  • Read and follow plan-o-grams to complete reset and remodel work, with a working knowledge of merchandising and retail terminology.
  • Partner with store personnel and coworkers to achieve and maintain merchandising excellence, discussing changes and building effective working relationships.
  • Prepare, process, submit, and manage documentation related to assigned reset and remodel work.
  • Perform job safely by demonstrating full awareness of surroundings, utilizing proper safety techniques and equipment when necessary.
  • Understand and follow all Acosta Group policies and standard operating procedures.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 3+ years of supervisory/management experience with authority to direct and oversee employee daily work activities
  • 3+ years of customer service experience preferred
  • Prior sales agent, retail, and reset responsibility experience preferred
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work accurately with web-based applications
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong demonstration of core competencies: quality commitment, detail orientation, customer service, communication skills, and ability to work accurately with web-based applications
  • Comfortable working in cold environmental conditions (refrigerated and freezer sections of retail stores)
  • Valid driver's license and ability to drive for extended periods
  • Travel required, up to 50%, with occasional overnight stays and weekend work
