POSITION SUMMARY: The Assistant Manager for Casino Table Games is tasked with collaborating with the Shift Manager to guarantee the efficient operation of table games during their assigned shift.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain an ongoing awareness of the casino gaming area.
  • Address guest disputes in a fair and impartial manner.
  • Ensure adherence to rules and regulations for Table Games personnel.
  • Oversee appropriate staffing levels and manage table limits effectively.
  • Ensure all pit documentation and reports are completed accurately.
  • Create an atmosphere that safeguards the casino's assets while allowing guests to enjoy their experience.
  • Monitor significant plays and buy-ins actively.
  • Assist in ensuring the smooth and proper operation of the gaming area.
  • Communicate updates, policies, and promotions to Table Games staff.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Exceptional customer service abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with all business contacts.
  • Proficient in English communication, both verbal and written.
  • Demonstrated commitment to organizational goals.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, with intermittent breaks.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

Required:

  • Ability to calculate table games payouts and perform moderately complex mathematical tasks.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Title 31.
  • Thorough understanding of Blackjack, Craps, and Roulette, including proper procedures and game protection.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in table games, including at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Word/Excel/Outlook).
  • Effective communication skills in English, both written and oral.

Preferred:

  • 5+ years of experience in table games, including 2+ years in a supervisory role.
  • Previous experience in a similar resort environment.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

  • Gaming Card
  • Alcohol Awareness Card

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee all Floor Supervisors/Boxmen and Dealers during their designated shift.
