Support Worker Specialist

About the JobAs a Support Worker Specialist at Bridgewell, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with daily living skills, supervision, and skills training in a home environment and community setting. You will receive specialized training to provide enhanced supervision or interventions designed to address multiple disabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Support and Assistance: Help individuals develop their skills and foster independence by providing support and assistance with all activities of daily living.
- Create Opportunities for Decision-Making: Encourage individuals to make decisions and develop their skills through opportunities and support.
- Comply with Regulatory Standards: Ensure compliance with DDS, DMH, MassHealth, HUD, DPH, CARF, and other applicable regulatory standards, as well as Bridgewell policies and procedures.
- Transport and Accompany Individuals: Safely transport and accompany individuals to medical, recreational, and other activities outside the program.
- Maintain Required Documentation: Accurately maintain required documentation according to regulatory standards and Bridgewell policies.
- High School Diploma or GED: Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience Working with Disabilities: A minimum of 1 year of experience working with individuals with developmental or psychiatric disabilities is preferred.
- Competitive Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
