Critical Care Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled Critical Care Registered Nurse to join our Neurosciences ICU team at Emory Healthcare. As a critical care nurse, you will have the opportunity to work with a nationally acclaimed neurology and neurosurgical team, providing exceptional care to patients with complex medical conditions.
- Number of Beds: 40 ICU Rooms and 2 Acute Stroke Resuscitation Rooms
- Patient Population/Typical Diagnoses: Subarachnoid Hemorrhage, Ischemic Strokes, Hemorrhagic Strokes, Autoimmune Diseases, Epilepsy, Brain Tumors, and Meningitis
- Targeted Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:2

Responsibilities
As a Critical Care Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for:
- Providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients
- Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Monitoring and managing patient's vital signs and medical conditions
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Documenting patient's progress and communicating with the healthcare team
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- 12 months of recent nursing experience within the past five years or recent completion of a re-entry nursing program
- Valid, active unencumbered Nursing license or temporary permit approved by the Georgia Licensing Board
- BLS certification required and ACLS may be required in designated departments
