We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dining Room Attendant to join our team at California Food Management LLC. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our dining area is clean, organized, and welcoming to our guests.
Key Responsibilities- Clear and reset tables, chairs, and booths after guests leave, maintaining a high level of cleanliness and organization.
- Pick up, sort, and wash all dishes, utensils, and equipment, adhering to our Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and health and safety guidelines.
- Unload, unbox, rotate, and store food, equipment, and supplies as needed, ensuring that our inventory is well-stocked and easily accessible.
- Stock and rotate all necessary supplies in the service areas and dining room, maintaining a well-organized and efficient environment.
- Comply with all local and SOP health, sanitation, and safety guidelines, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our guests and staff.
- Dispose of all trash properly, maintaining a clean and tidy dining area.
- Check restrooms hourly to ensure proper stocking levels of supplies and the cleanliness of the facilities.
- Perform all cleaning duties according to posted cleaning charts, maintaining a high level of cleanliness and organization.
- Comply with IHOP uniform and appearance standards per SOP guidelines, presenting a professional and welcoming image to our guests.
- Perform other assignments or tasks as assigned by the General Manager, Assistant Manager, or acting supervisor.

- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to understand oral instructions in English and read English or Spanish well enough to read and understand instructions from supervisors, requests from co-workers and guests, and warning and safety labels.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one-step or two-step instructions.
- Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
