Academic Faculty Position at Kilgore College

Kilgore College is a leading institution of higher education in Northeast Texas, offering a wide range of academic programs to students. We are currently seeking an experienced and qualified Adjunct Instructor to join our teaching faculty.
Key Responsibilities- Teach one or more courses to high school students on various formats (in-person, online, hybrid, or multi-modal) on the KC campuses in Kilgore or Longview or at various high school locations.
- Develop appropriate course syllabi and check/respond to KC email daily.
- Submit various documentation in a timely manner and fulfill other responsibilities as needed.
We require a master's degree or higher with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in the subject area for academic transfer courses. For career and technical education courses, various qualifications will be considered, such as degree earned and work experience.
Compensation and BenefitsThe salary for this position ranges from $1,800 per 3-hour course for a master's degree to $2,000 per 3-hour course for a doctorate. Additionally, you will receive worker's compensation and limited part-time retirement plan benefits. Please note that Kilgore College does not participate in the federal Social Security program.
