Kilgore College, a two-year comprehensive public community college, invites applications for an adjunct faculty position in the Speech department.
This role involves teaching one or more Speech courses, developing course syllabi, and working with students. The classes may be dual credit and taught at a high school location.
Compensation and BenefitsThe salary for this position is estimated to range from $1,800 to $2,000 per 3-hour course, depending on education level. Employees also receive worker's compensation and limited part-time retirement plan benefits.
Please note that Kilgore College does not participate in the federal Social Security program. This means employees/retirees are subject to the Windfall Elimination Provision (WEP) and possibly the Government Pension Offset (GPO) laws.
Requirements and Qualifications- A master's degree or higher in Speech is required, with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in the field.
- Prior college-level teaching experience is preferred.
