  • Oversee all components of The Nutrition Care Process. Deliver Medical Nutrition Therapy to patients in compliance with regulatory standards and professional guidelines. Develop and implement tailored nutrition strategies and objectives. Lead the healthcare team in creating and executing individualized nutrition care plans. Engage with patients, their families, and healthcare colleagues in a professional and timely manner. Provide expertise in The Nutrition Care Process and manage the delivery of Medical Nutrition Therapy as per provider directives, including specialized nutrition support options. Systematically assess the quality, safety, and effectiveness of specialized nutrition therapies in collaboration with other healthcare professionals. Mentor Dietetic Interns. Participate in quality improvement projects to align with departmental and organizational objectives. Design and deliver educational initiatives for clients, students, staff, and community groups.
  • Qualifications
  • Education
  • Required: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
  • Required: Master's degree in nutrition, dietetics, or a related discipline; graduates eligible post-2024
  • Experience
  • Preferred: 1-2 years of clinical practice experience
  • Preferred: Familiarity with Nutrition Diagnostics and Nutrition Focused Physical Exam methodologies
  • Preferred: Experience in providing specialized nutrition support
  • Skills
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and performing mathematical calculations relevant to the role, along with computer literacy
  • Effective communication skills for interaction with individuals and groups
  • Able to follow instructions and collaborate effectively as part of a team
  • Capable of standing for extended periods
  • Licensure/Certification
  • Required: Registered Dietitian with applicable state licensure
  • Required: Maintains registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration of The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics
  • Required: Adheres to state licensure requirements
  • Preferred: Board certification in advanced specialty practice
