Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cabinet Designer to join our internal design department at Showplace Cabinetry. As a Cabinet Designer, you will work closely with our 1,000+ independent dealers to provide cabinetry and layout design services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and create rough draft layouts or floor plan dimensions using 20/20 program.
  • Maintain a Design Log with notes and completion of work.
  • Provide customers with accurate information using resources provided.
  • Respond to customer communications in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Send perspective 3D, layout, and pricing information for review.
  • Place orders for dealers if jobs sell.
Requirements
  • Possess or acquire 20/20 program/other design program knowledge.
  • Thorough knowledge of all Showplace lines of products.
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to deal with customers and provide resolutions to issues.
  • Ability to work with fellow employees to provide resolutions.
  • Computer keyboard and 10 key experience preferable.
  • Able to work at a fast pace and under mentally stressful situations.
  • Ability to read basic blueprints.
