Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Asset Management professional to join our team at Stone Alliance Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing all asset management responsibilities, including renewable energy tax credit investments and private credit investing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage asset management responsibilities, including tracking and coordinating third-party deliverables and diligence items.
  • Maintain accurate records during the negotiation and diligence phases to ensure deal teams are meeting their obligations and third parties are delivering timely.
  • Responsible for transitioning deals post-closing to the lifecycle asset management process.
  • Manage the asset management process for the remaining deal lifecycle, including periodic reports, financial model/waterfall review, and reporting to investors.
  • Coordinate with third parties on delivery of periodic reports, financials, tax returns to ensure capital provider obligations are satisfied.
  • Ensure internal reporting requirements align with industry/investor standards and ensure external parties adhere to these standards.
  • Assist with reporting requirements for private credit platform, including tax, portfolio company performance, and ad hoc reporting needs.
  • Review tax returns and coordinate with experts for review.
  • Support initiatives to help the business achieve its strategic objectives.
  • Travel for business and attend conferences as necessary.
Requirements
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel modeling skills, including use of complex functions and ability to create well-organized presentations of information to formulate conclusions.
  • Understanding of financial, tax, accounting, and investment concepts.
  • Strong communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written, and ability to create and deliver effective presentations.
  • Ability to evaluate complex situations and independently make decisions on significant matters.
  • Self-motivated intellectual curiosity.
  • Experience with renewable energy infrastructure and related project finance.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, or related area.
  • 7+ years in tax credit asset management and/or investment operations.
  • Advanced degree and/or CFA, CPA certification is optional.
  • Experience in renewable energy, accounting, and/or finance is strongly preferred.
  • Experience in low-income, historical, new markets, and state tax credits also strongly preferred.
