Job Summary

The Mental Health Association is seeking a highly skilled Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner/APRN or PMHNP to join our team. As a key member of our Residential Rehabilitation Services Co-Occurring Enhanced Treatment program and Outpatient Behavioral Health Clinic, you will provide medication management services to individuals enrolled in our programs.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct psychiatric evaluations and provide ongoing treatment to those referred.
  • Participate in case review and consultation as necessary, as well as quality assurance program participation.
  • Collaborate with program staff to implement psychiatric and operational practices, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure thorough completion of all required psychiatric evaluations and medication management plans.
  • Provide guidance, support, and consultation to clinical staff.
  • Actively participate in licensing and accreditation processes.
  • Serve as a liaison to relevant service systems, state agencies, and community partners as needed.
  • Create and maintain open and effective lines of communication to meet contract standards and promote the mission of MHA within the community.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with local, state, federal, and private agencies and organizations to promote programs and identify potential new alliances, partnerships, and funding sources.
  • Pursue activities to enhance personal professional growth, including attending conferences, classes, and representing the agency.
Requirements
  • Registered/certified as a Nurse Practitioner preferred, Physician's Assistant or APRN in the state of Massachusetts required.
  • DEA and Controlled Substance license in Massachusetts in good standing.
  • Experience providing medical services in a substance use and/or behavioral health treatment setting or equivalent.
