Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to identify their strengths and weaknesses, and develop personalized treatment plans to address their needs.
  • Implement and execute treatment plans, using a variety of techniques and modalities, including therapeutic exercises, joint mobilization, and modalities.
  • Provide education and training to patients and their support systems, to empower them to take an active role in their recovery.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive care and optimal outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, including progress notes, treatment plans, and billing information.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in physical therapy, and apply this knowledge to improve patient outcomes and enhance the quality of care.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy, or Doctorate degree preferred.
  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of practice.
  • Completed state-regulated CEU requirements in the state of practice (NY, NJ).
  • Valid CPR certification.
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) software preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Strong clinical decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze complex patient data and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with minimal supervision.
