Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our team at AMR. As an EMT, you will be responsible for providing emergency medical services to patients in need, while maintaining a safe and clean environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patients and determine necessary care, utilizing appropriate medical techniques and equipment.
  • Document patient information, condition, and treatment, while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
  • Operate an ambulance in conjunction with applicable company safety policies and traffic laws.
  • Work collaboratively with allied health and public safety personnel, as well as fellow EMTs.
  • Participate in community programs to maintain AMR's image and establish strong community relations.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • State Driver's License
  • BLS CPR
  • NREMT
  • Driving record in compliance with company policy
  • Pass Physical Agility Test
  • Some work experience, preferably in healthcare
  • Successfully pass a criminal background check and fingerprinting
