Job Overview
Collin College is seeking a highly skilled Higher Education Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our student services department, you will be responsible for coordinating concurrent enrollment programs and special admissions initiatives. Your expertise in marketing, public relations, and presentation skills will enable you to effectively communicate with high school counselors, principals, and students.

About the Role
This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $47,300-$56,760 per annum, commensurate with experience. You will work closely with Academic Deans, discipline leads, and professors to resolve dual credit issues and concerns. Travel within the county may be required to promote college programs or attend seminars and workshops.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise, interview, and make admissions decisions for special admissions students.
  • Coordinate concurrent orientation programs and registration processes for service area high schools.
  • Provide regular special admissions reports to the Associate Dean of Academic Partnerships and other college administrators.
  • Communicate regularly with high schools and Collin staff regarding grades, calendar conflicts, rosters, student schedules, professor information, and deadlines.

Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited institution is required. A Master's degree from an accredited institution is preferred. Two years of related experience, preferably in a community college or university setting, is also required.
