Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain high-performance software systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop solutions
  • Improve existing software systems to ensure scalability and reliability
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to colleagues
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in software development with a focus on high-performance systems
  • Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and software design
  • Experience with architecting, developing, and extending large-scale systems
  • Passion for shipping quality high-performance code
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Big Data and technologies such as Map/Reduce, Hadoop, Pig, HBase, Hive
  • Experience with API and web services design
  • Experience taking the initiative and acting as a technical lead
  • Strong understanding of Java, Python, Scala, system design, distributed systems, web services, cloud infrastructure, and other relevant technologies
