Role Overview:This position is integral to the Test & Flight Operations team, providing essential support to various Business Units focused on the design, construction, and upkeep of ground systems and launch facilities across multiple sites.
Your contributions will involve the development and execution of engineering methodologies for Test and Flight Operations systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, implement, and enhance engineering and program lifecycle management policies, procedures, and standards for Test and Flight Operations systems.
- Lead initiatives in Process Modeling, Measurement, Problem-solving, Root Cause Analysis, Non-Manufacturing Process Design, and Risk Management.
- Identify and execute system and process enhancements to boost efficiency and quality.
- Establish effective, efficient, and predictable systems through process stabilization.
- Focus areas include Process Analysis, Improvement, Execution Planning, and Operations Planning.
- 7+ years of experience in process development.
- 7+ years in a highly regulated sector (e.g., automotive, medical devices, aerospace).
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Proficient in product lifecycle management (PLM).
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong technical writing and presentation capabilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with export control regulations (EAR/ITAR).
- Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or legally admitted refugee/asylee.
- Experience in the aerospace sector.
- Master's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Familiarity with requirements management tools such as DOORS.
- Experience with PLM and data management tools like Windchill.
- Proficiency in collaboration tools such as Confluence and JIRA.
- Adept at working with partially defined requirements and evolving criteria.
- Database management skills.
