Job Summary:

The Manufacturing Technician I plays a vital role in supporting production staff within assigned manufacturing cells. This position involves providing hands-on guidance, operating equipment, and contributing to daily production as needed. The successful candidate will also assist engineering staff with the development and implementation of various manufacturing processes.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Provide technical support and guidance to production operators and supervisors to resolve day-to-day issues.
  • Serve as a resource to production operators and supervisors to confirm worker compliance to established procedures and work instructions.
  • Perform verification and implementation of new manufacturing procedures and work instructions.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing and quality personnel to identify potential production issues.
  • Monitor and verify equipment functionality.
  • Participate in equipment installation and qualification.
  • Encourage open communication and question-asking among team members.
  • Relay concerns to engineering staff and participate in resolving issues.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Follow disciplined product/process development and change control methods.
  • Keep team members and leaders informed of work status and issues.
  • Manage projects with trained project management disciplines.
  • Log all activity and report to mentors and managers weekly.
  • Function as an effective team member through collaboration, conflict resolution, and respectful interactions.
  • Work on multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED; Associate degree in a technical field preferred.
  • Hands-on mechanical knowledge and experience.
  • Effective communication skills in both written and oral form.
  • Able to operate virtual meeting platforms.
  • High energy and drive required.
  • Electrical and/or software development knowledge a plus.
Shift/Location:

2nd shift: 3:00pm-11:30pm, Monday-Friday

Wage Disclosure:

The salary range for this position is $17.50-$24.50 per hour, equivalent to $36,500-$51,000 annually. This range reflects the minimum and maximum of the range for the position, and the actual range will vary based on factors including prior experience, knowledge, skill, and education.
