Radiology Technologist CT

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist CT to join our team at Samaritan Healthcare. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing computed tomography exams with and without power contrast injections, ensuring accurate patient and image documentation, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform computed tomography exams with and without power contrast injections, adhering to radiologist protocols and sterile techniques.
- Accurately document patient and image information in the HIS/RIS and PACS systems.
- Ensure a safe and efficient work environment, adhering to infection control, fire, and disaster protocols.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide exceptional patient care and service.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and education to stay current with the latest trends and technologies in radiologic technology.
- Washington State Radiologic Technologist Certification.
- Registered – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, RT(R) (CT) required.
- Minimum of two (2) years experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (HCP) level to be completed within three (3) months of hire.
- Demonstrates competency on equipment listed on department specific checklist.
- Critical thinking skills: Seeks resources for direction, when necessary. Performs independent problem solving. Decision-making is logical and deliberate.
- Performs actions that demonstrate accountability. Exercises safe judgment in decision-making. Practices within legal and ethical guidelines.
