Radiology Technologist CT

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist CT to join our team at Samaritan Healthcare. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography (CT) scans and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Position patients correctly and safely for CT scans, ensuring accurate and efficient imaging.
- Administer contrast media and perform power injections as needed.
- Monitor patient needs and provide emotional support during the scanning process.
- Maintain accurate patient and image documentation in our HIS/RIS and PACS systems.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques.
- Washington State Radiologic Technologist Certification.
- Registered – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, RT(R) (CT) required.
- Minimum of two (2) years experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (HCP) level to be completed within three (3) months of hire.
- Occasional heavy lifting (lift/carry up to 50 lbs.).
- Frequent/prolonged standing/walking.
- Lifts, positions, pushes, and/or transfers patients.
- Pushes, pulls, or moves heavy equipment.
- Manual dexterity and mobility.
- Demonstrates competency on equipment listed on department specific checklist.
- Critical thinking skills: Seeks resources for direction, when necessary. Performs independent problem solving. Decision-making is logical and deliberate.
- Performs actions that demonstrate accountability. Exercises safe judgment in decision-making. Practices within legal and ethical guidelines.
