Key Responsibilities:
- Provide consistent, friendly, and professional service to guests, ensuring they are informed about the casino's services, promotions, and events.
- Accurately manage guest and company funds by processing all transactions and related documentation in compliance with gaming regulations and company policies.
- Facilitate the exchange of gaming chips and tickets, cash checks, and process markers and fills efficiently.
- Safeguard casino cage assets and maintain the bank balance throughout the assigned shift.
- Input markers, fills, and credit slips into the computer system.
- Perform other reasonable duties as assigned.
- High School diploma or GED preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience in cash handling within a high-volume environment.
- Ability to manage high-pressure situations effectively.
- Excellent communication skills focused on guest service.
- Bilingual candidates are a plus.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses as mandated by local gaming regulations.
- Basic math skills with a solid understanding of currency.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to operate calculators, computers, and money counters.
- Physical capability to frequently speak, read, write, stand, walk, bend, and stoop.
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Exposure to smoke, bright lights, and noise may occur.
