Position Overview:
As a vital member of the rehabilitation team, the Speech Language Pathologist will provide specialized care to patients facing communication and swallowing disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to determine their specific needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
  • Implement and adjust therapy strategies based on ongoing assessments and patient progress.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care and effective rehabilitation.
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on communication strategies and therapeutic exercises.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess current state licensure or be eligible for licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language & Hearing Association or be eligible for certification.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required within the first 90 days of employment.
