Your Responsibilities:
  • Primarily operate a company vehicle to safely transport medical items, including lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, and hospital supplies.
  • Efficiently load and unload the vehicle using appropriate equipment.
  • Utilize a handheld scanning device to monitor items throughout the delivery process.
  • Adhere to operational policies, procedures, and service schedules.
  • Exhibit safe and courteous driving practices.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, maintaining cleanliness and orderliness.
  • Foster teamwork and adaptability with colleagues and clients.
  • Contribute to a collaborative team culture at MedSpeed.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous driving experience in a relevant field is advantageous.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Must be at least 19 years old with a valid driver's license for a minimum of three years.
  • Excellent driving record is mandatory.
  • Comfortable using technology and adapting to new tools.
  • Ability to pass initial and random drug and alcohol screenings.
  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination may be required based on local mandates.
  • Must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and performing physical tasks such as walking and standing for extended periods.
