Job Overview:

Hoxton Circle is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their dynamic team. As a key member of the finance department, you will be responsible for managing tenant invoices, tracking outstanding balances, and performing collections activities to ensure timely payments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and manage all tenant invoices in accordance with lease agreements and contractual terms.
  • Monitor and update accounts receivable aging reports to identify potential issues and overdue balances.
  • Follow up on outstanding invoices and perform collections activities to ensure timely payments.
  • Work closely with property managers and leasing agents to resolve billing discrepancies and address tenant inquiries.
  • Utilize MRI software to process and record tenant payments, manage leases, and track receivables.
  • Reconcile daily cash receipts, tenant payment schedules, and aging reports within MRI.
  • Maintain accurate records of tenant communications, payment plans, and correspondence related to receivables.
  • Generate and review monthly accounts receivable reports, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in accounts receivable, with at least two years of experience in the commercial property industry.
  • Familiarity with MRI software (mandatory).
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to handle tenant inquiries professionally.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not required.

Benefits:

Hoxton Circle offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 - $75,000 per annum, as well as a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage. The company also provides 401(k) retirement savings plan and ample vacation, holiday, PTO, and sick pay.

Location:

This role is hybrid/remote with 2-3 days in office/week. We are looking for a motivated and organized individual who can excel in a dynamic team environment.
