Job Summary

Sigma Design is seeking an experienced Electrical Test Engineer to join their team on a contract basis. This position is a 12-month contract with the opportunity to be extended.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute electromechanical test plans for customer-designed hardware.
  • Analyze circuits and topologies to identify root causes of marginal failures.
  • Prepare metallurgical samples for analysis, including potting, cross-sectioning, and polishing.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in fault isolation and metallurgical analysis.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of integrated electronics fabrication processes.
  • Experience with analytical and FA techniques.
  • Experience with materials relevant to flexible electronic devices.
Work Environment

The Electrical Test Engineer will work in a standard lab/production environment, wearing appropriate safety garments (PPE) as required. Occasional travel may be necessary to other facilities, clients, or suppliers.
