Job Summary

The Revenue Cycle Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring timely and accurate revenue posting. This position is responsible for entering charges, resolving issues, and reconciliations of charge postings at a detail level. The Specialist supports preauthorization workflow and collaborates with all personnel involved in the service/documentation/charge/claim/reimbursement cycle to maximize revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enter charges and resolve issues in a timely and accurate manner
  • Reconcile charge postings at a detail level
  • Support preauthorization workflow
  • Collaborate with personnel involved in the revenue cycle

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred
  • Minimum of two years' work experience in hospital revenue cycle operations related to charging, coding, and reimbursement
  • Medical terminology and CRCA Certification preferred
