The Role

We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic Senior Manager to join our Gaming Finance, Strategy & Analysis (FS&A) team. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for developing strategic insights to advance our gaming initiative and driving business decisions through data-driven analysis.

Responsibilities:

  • Valuation Analysis: Prepare detailed valuation analyses, including model building and scenario testing, to support deal-making decisions and negotiations.
  • Strategic Presentations: Develop insightful presentations that summarize key data, identify underlying trends, and provide actionable strategic recommendations to senior executives.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research and competitive trends analyses, and summarize them for a senior executive-level audience.
  • Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with our Data Science, Consumer Insights, and other data-driven partner teams to develop new metrics and track them through dashboarding and reporting.
  • Leadership: Collaborate directly with top leaders in the Gaming organization, delivering on their requests, translating their high-level thoughts into actionable strategies with measurable goals, and assisting in socializing these strategies and coordinating execution across a diverse set of stakeholders.
  • Strategic Frameworks: Develop, evangelize, and implement strategic frameworks to help our executives and stakeholders make informed decisions and evaluate critical trade-offs for this nascent vertical.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 10+ years of work experience in a highly analytical role, ideally in investment banking, management consulting, or in a strategy & operations-focused role at a top-tier gaming or technology company.
  • Gaming Experience: Relevant experience in gaming, particularly in mobile, is required.
  • Passion: Strong passion for Netflix IP and the entertainment industry at large.
  • Analysis Skills: Experience conducting quantitative analyses (including modeling) and qualitative analyses that can drive insights and results.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication/presentation skills with a track record of presenting complex analyses to senior management clearly and concisely.
  • Writing Skills: Excellent writing skills, and the ability to communicate complex data & analysis concisely.
  • Initiative: Strong initiative and ability to work independently; must thrive in a fast-paced, always-changing environment.
  • Intellectual Curiosity: Highly intellectually curious, has the courage to challenge the status quo, and exhibits the highest personal and professional standards of integrity and ethics.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree with an emphasis on coursework of a quantitative nature, preferably Business, Economics, or Statistics. MBA is a strong plus.
  • Proficiency: Excellent proficiency with MS Excel / PowerPoint (and ideally their Google Suite counterparts).

Compensation:

Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $160,000 - $470,000.

We also offer paid leave of absence programs. Full-time hourly employees accrue 35 days annually for paid time off to be used for vacation, holidays, and sick paid time off. Full-time salaried employees are immediately entitled to flexible time off.
