Aerotek is seeking a Coating Line Technician for a prominent medical manufacturing organization. This role is essential in ensuring the quality and efficiency of the paint application process.
Position: Coating Line Technician
Location: Northern Asheville, NC
Compensation: $19.43/hr
- Schedule: Monday - Friday
- Shift: 5am - 2:30pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct quality inspections of manufactured components and manage their loading and unloading onto the automated paint line.
- Transport finished painted components to internal assembly lines.
- Maintain accurate records of manufacturing operations.
- Ensure parts are organized and hung in the correct color sequence.
- Perform visual inspections for defects and ensure proper paint coverage, addressing minor imperfections as necessary.
- Regularly lift and move materials weighing between 50-60lbs.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
- Minimum of 6 months experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Willingness to undergo a drug screening as part of the hiring process.
