Job Overview

Position: Senior RF Support Technician

Department: Operations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed troubleshooting at the component level utilizing schematics and specialized testing equipment.
  • Maintain consistent and reliable attendance.
  • Execute manual testing procedures employing DMM, RF power meters, oscilloscopes, frequency generators, and spectrum analyzers.
  • Manage automated testing stations and assess product performance metrics.
  • Analyze unit performance against predefined specifications.
  • Deliver technical updates regarding product performance, assess automated test outcomes, and troubleshoot testing equipment and stations.
  • Perform minor mechanical assembly and disassembly during troubleshooting activities.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in precision soldering techniques.
  • Familiarity with microstrip stub tuning.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
  • Adhere to established safety and quality protocols.
  • Associate's Degree in Electronics, Technical School, Military Equivalent, or relevant work experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams, Engineering Change Orders (ECO), test procedures, and rework documentation.
  • Basic mathematical and computer skills, including proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
  • Strong understanding of RF Microwave Technology.
  • Willingness to work outside of standard hours as necessary.
  • Operational knowledge of manufacturing and workmanship standards.
  • Excellent decision-making, problem-solving, teamwork, and communication abilities.
