- Spigen Inc is seeking a Senior Cloud Operations Engineer with a robust background in ArgoCD, Kubernetes (K8s), Apache Airflow, Helm charts, and Python programming. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in architecting, executing, and sustaining our CI/CD pipelines, overseeing our container orchestration, and ensuring efficient deployment workflows. You will also be responsible for creating and managing Airflow DAGs, utilizing Helm charts for Kubernetes application management, and employing Python to automate processes and improve operational efficiencies. Collaboration with both development and operations teams will be essential to streamline workflows and enhance infrastructure performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, execute, and sustain CI/CD pipelines utilizing ArgoCD.
- Oversee and enhance Kubernetes clusters for optimal scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Create and manage automation scripts and tools for effective infrastructure management.
- Work closely with development teams to integrate and automate deployment workflows.
- Monitor system performance, identify performance bottlenecks, and resolve issues.
- Implement industry best practices for security, monitoring, and compliance.
- Oversee and maintain Apache Airflow for workflow automation and orchestration.
- Create, implement, and manage Apache Airflow DAGs.
- Utilize Helm charts for effective management of Kubernetes applications.
- Participate in on-call rotations to ensure system reliability and availability.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps or similar roles.
- Strong proficiency in ArgoCD and Kubernetes (K8s).
- Extensive experience with Apache Airflow, including the development and management of DAGs.
- Proficient in Helm charts for Kubernetes application management.
- Expertise in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar.
- Hands-on experience with cloud service providers (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Solid understanding of CI/CD methodologies and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
- Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Helm).
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proactive work ethic.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- U.S. work authorization is required.
- New employees at Spigen Inc will be required to successfully complete the E-Verify employment verification process.
Work Schedule
- Standard hours: 9 AM – 6 PM
- Workdays: Monday – Friday
