Position Overview:
The Traffic Operations Coordinator plays a vital role in our dynamic and fast-paced environment. This position requires daily interaction with internal teams, external clients, vendors, and media providers across cable and broadcast sectors. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proficient in various software applications, and capable of managing multiple data entry tasks while prioritizing effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Data entry and processing of deliverables to ensure all orders, revisions, commercial materials, and instructions are accurately received by our inventory partners.
2. Manage materials from clients and partners to fulfill orders efficiently.
3. Ensure accurate quality control of daily operations.
4. Receive, review, and submit client orders promptly and in high volume.
5. Locate and organize trafficking instructions for input and distribution.
6. Communicate revisions and cancellations to media outlets within specified deadlines.
7. Order commercial materials for timely delivery to all media outlets.
8. Handle post-log processing, discrepancy management, and various reporting requirements as needed.
Qualifications:
- Preferred experience in media trafficking and familiarity with traffic and billing systems.
- Knowledge of media operations (Broadcast, Cable, Digital, etc.) is advantageous.
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook, as well as Google Docs.
- Adaptable work style; able to manage demanding situations and respond positively to change.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills; excellent organizational and prioritization abilities.
- Professional written and verbal communication skills; capable of working independently and collaboratively.
- Demonstrates pride in work and a commitment to quality.
- Positive attitude and a collaborative spirit.
Work Environment:
The role requires the employee to sit or stand at a desk throughout the day while utilizing a computer. We maintain an open office setting designed to encourage collaboration and teamwork. The ability to perform job duties accurately and efficiently in a dynamic environment is essential.
