**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Population Health Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Population Health team, you will work cross-functionally to develop a suite of purpose-driven analytic reporting to maximize the health of our patients and the performance of our physicians using proprietary applications.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • **Value-Based Care Programs**: Champion understanding of Value-Based Care Programs (Medicare Shared Savings, Medicare Advantage, and Commercial Accountable Care Organization Programs) with emphasis on Quality/STARs and Documentation & Coding performance.
  • **Clinical Analytics**: Assist in reporting quality and utilization measures performance, identify opportunities for performance improvement within value-based care programs, and develop provider-facing materials to support change.
  • **Operational Support**: Collaborate closely with the Population Health team to develop reporting for Care center 1:1 meetings, support market-level incentive payment distribution, and manage the distribution process in collaboration with Population Health Team leadership, Payer Partnerships, Accounting, BI teams, and more.
  • **Data Analysis**: Work closely with the Population Health team to understand their evolving information needs, and plan and execute analytics strategies and solutions that are in alignment with those needs.
  • **Ad-Hoc Reporting**: Produce ad-hoc reporting and perform other duties as assigned.

**Requirements**

  • 2+ years of professional experience
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, preferably a quantitative major (e.g. engineering, analytics, applied math, statistics, etc)
  • Experience with SQL preferred. Experience with data mining software (R, SAS, Python) is desirable
  • Experience working with data (claims, EMR, ADT, Rx labs, etc.)
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and Google Suite preferred
  • Understand basic business concepts related to healthcare claims/insurance and/or physician group dynamics
  • Experience working at a health plan, hospital system, ACO, provider organization, consulting firm, technology start-up, or previous healthcare analytics experience and capabilities highly preferred
  • Must comply with HIPAA rules and regulations

**What We Offer**

The salary range for this role is $60,000 to $72,000 in base pay. This role is also eligible for an annual bonus targeted at 10%. The base pay offered will be determined based on relevant factors such as experience, education, and geographic location.
