Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and welcome patients in person, providing a positive and professional experience
  • Collect and verify demographic and insurance information, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Check in or interview patients to complete necessary paperwork, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Direct patients to their appointments or procedures, ensuring timely and efficient care
  • Use resources and tools to complete registration for complex accounts, resolving issues and concerns as needed
  • Verify eligible and benefits information for payers, interpreting results and resolving billing issues
  • Obtain cost information and explain it to patients, ensuring transparency and understanding
  • Collect co-pays or deductibles, ensuring accurate and timely payment
  • Assist and counsel patients with financial assistance programs, providing support and guidance
  • Collaborate with leaders to ensure team operations are staffed and working effectively, identifying areas for improvement
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; 2+ years of revenue cycle or healthcare experience preferred
  • Advanced level of proficiency with Excel and intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to work 8-hour days, 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, with occasional weekend and on-call shifts
Preferred Qualifications
  • Leadership experience and Epic experience a plus
Physical Demands

This role requires consistent walking, standing, bending, and turning, with occasional lifting of up to 10 pounds. A valid driver's license is not required for this position.
