About the Role

We are seeking a Part-time Registered Dietitian to join our team at Bridgewater Retirement Community in Bridgewater, VA. As a Registered Dietitian, you will play a vital role in providing nutritional care to residents of skilled nursing, conducting wellness events, and meeting DOH/state/federal and company standards.

Responsibilities
  • Provide nutritional care to residents of skilled nursing
  • Conduct wellness events for residents of Independent Living, including cooking demonstrations and educational lectures
  • Meet DOH/state/federal and company standards
  • Be an active member of the interdisciplinary care conferences
  • Represent the Food & Nutrition Department as a liaison with the medical and nursing staff
  • Support the food service operation as needed
Requirements
  • Registered Dietitian credentials
  • Senior living experience (a plus)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong leadership skills
  • The ability to work well with physicians, nursing and ancillary staff
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and enjoy working with seniors
