Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Vascular Ultrasound Specialist to join our team at DispatchHealth Imaging. As a mobile ultrasound technologist, you will travel to various service locations to perform high-quality ultrasound exams for patients of all ages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel to service locations, including private residences, skilled nursing homes, and correctional facilities, to perform ultrasound examinations.
  • Follow company policies, procedures, and protocols, as well as state and federal regulations.
  • Demonstrate competency in performing portable ultrasound studies based on established protocols and procedures.
  • Perform sonographic examinations as ordered by physicians and prepare preliminary worksheets for radiologists.
  • Complete all necessary forms and maintain accurate records of work performed.
  • Operate and maintain company vehicles and equipment, ensuring they are well-stocked and in good working condition.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited program in Sonography or equivalent experience.
  • Credentialed in medical sonography by ARDMS, ARRT, or CCI.
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds and walk up and down stairs easily.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work a varied schedule, including evenings, holidays, and weekends.
