We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at Northwest Health - Portage. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to patients with a wide range of medical conditions, including emergency and urgent care needs.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments, identify patient needs, and prioritize care accordingly.
- Administer medications, treatments, and other interventions as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient vital signs, track progress, and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
Our Emergency Department is a 30-bed unit that provides emergency services 24/7. We are an accredited Chest Pain Center and a Primary Stroke Center, and our team works closely with first responders and heart and vascular specialists to deliver fast, efficient care. Our unit is equipped with multi-functional treatment rooms and a continued commitment to keeping wait times to a minimum.

Requirements- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Indiana.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN/ASN) required, BSN preferred.
- BLS certification must be maintained while in this position.
- ACLS certification within 12 months of being hired.
