The Groundskeeper plays a vital role in upholding the aesthetic appeal of our properties. This position involves a variety of tasks aimed at ensuring that the grounds, landscaping, and outdoor facilities are meticulously maintained and inviting for both residents and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Report directly to the Community Manager or Maintenance Supervisor, receiving guidance and daily tasks.
  • Maintain cleanliness by sweeping and blowing sidewalks, walkways, and parking areas.
  • Ensure common areas and amenities, including courtyards, swimming pools, and outdoor grilling spaces, are clean and well-kept.
  • Regularly remove trash, debris, and pet waste from the property.
  • Assist with snow and ice removal during winter conditions.
  • Perform basic maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs and painting exterior surfaces.
  • Notify the Community Manager of any maintenance or safety concerns.
  • Maintain and store equipment used in this role properly.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols as outlined in the Employee Handbook and operational procedures.
  • Exhibit a professional demeanor and consistently represent the company positively.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of one year of relevant experience.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Understanding of safety procedures.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated team player.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Capability to stand, walk, and climb ladders for extended periods.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
