Job Title: Sales Service Representative

At Performance Food Group, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sales Service Representative to join our team. As a Sales Service Representative, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our strategic sales initiatives in your assigned sales region, collaborating closely with the Sales Team in that area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a detailed and specific call routine with a designated ledger of customers.
  • Execute the SmartStock program, ensuring compliance with company policies and providing merchandising and sales support.
  • Build strong relationships with customers in the sales region, addressing their needs and concerns promptly.
  • Identify and reduce out-of-stocks on shelves, ensuring products are fresh and within date code parameters.
  • Ensure plan-o-gram, marketing best practices, and compliance in stores, identifying display opportunities and maximizing display positioning.
  • Perform other tasks and duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate.
  • Ability to drive to customer locations using personal transportation (mileage and gasoline reimbursement provided).
  • Must have a valid driver's license, clean driving record, reliable vehicle, and proper valid insurance.
  • 1-2 years of working experience in a customer service, merchandising or sales position.
