Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Inspector to join our team at Keller Associates, Inc. in Meridian, Idaho.

Salary Information

The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately $85,000-$110,000 depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description

The successful candidate will spend part or all of most days in the field on a construction project, acting under the direction of the Engineer as their representative at the project site. Key responsibilities include inspecting and documenting work progress, facilitating communication between stakeholders, and preparing daily reports.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications
  • Knowledge of public works construction processes and documentation
  • Experience with accurate record-keeping
  • Familiarity with AASHTOWare and ProjectWise (a plus)

In addition to these requirements, the ideal candidate will possess strong written and verbal communication skills, be capable of working outdoors in adverse weather conditions, and hold relevant certifications such as Western Alliance for Quality Transportation Construction certifications or an active Idaho Qualified Personnel testing qualification.
