Job Overview

Position Summary: This role entails overseeing multiple branches and is responsible for strategically developing and executing plans in various domains including personnel management, customer engagement, growth of deposit and loan portfolios, compliance, security, operational efficiency, and financial oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Branch Performance & Sales (60%):
    • Formulates business strategies and implements actions to achieve performance targets, providing ongoing assessment and feedback to team members.
    • Exhibits adaptability to foster sales success.
    • Maintains a robust customer portfolio through effective profiling and follow-up.
    • Supports marketing initiatives and enhances customer awareness.
    • Encourages and reinforces sales skills through training and coaching.
    • Tracks and communicates branch sales metrics to staff and regional leadership.
    • Understands credit underwriting and product guidelines.
    • Manages exceptions and resolves issues promptly.
    • Conducts regular meetings to keep staff informed and engaged.
    • Collection Management:
      1. Oversees non-sufficient funds (NSF) and delinquent accounts.
      2. Engages with clients to resolve issues and ensures follow-up.
      3. Minimizes delinquencies through proactive measures.
      4. Reviews collection efforts and provides necessary training.
    • Community Engagement & Market Development:
      1. Conducts business outreach and reports outcomes to regional management.
      2. Participates actively in community events and organizations.
      3. Builds partnerships with local businesses to enhance the bank's reputation and support long-term growth.
      4. Develops strategies for customer acquisition and retention.
      5. Identifies local competition and formulates strategies to enhance market share.
      6. Communicates emerging market threats and opportunities to regional management.
  • Customer Service (20%):
    • Models exemplary customer service and reinforces expectations among staff.
    • Delivers personalized service by adhering to established service models.
    • Monitors staff performance in customer service through observation and accountability.
    • Handles customer inquiries effectively and motivates staff to do the same.
    • Proposes policy enhancements to improve customer satisfaction.
    • Resolves complex customer issues and assists in product/service implementation.
    • Ensures high levels of customer retention and service delivery.
  • Branch Operations (10%):
    • Participates in meetings and assists with various projects.
    • Ensures timely submission of branch reports and compliance testing.
    • Manages branch cash assets and security protocols.
    • Oversees the cleanliness and organization of branch facilities.
    • Communicates branch status and updates to regional management.
  • Leadership (10%):
    • Oversees departmental employees, including hiring, training, and performance management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in banking, finance, accounting, or business, or equivalent experience.
  • Preferred: Notary Public certification and Credit Producers Insurance License.
  • Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience in a financial institution and prior management experience.

Physical Requirements: This position requires standing, using hands for tasks, reaching, and effective communication. The employee may need to walk, stoop, or kneel, and must have specific vision capabilities.

Working Environment: This role operates in a professional office setting, utilizing standard office equipment.
