Position Overview:

A dedicated Security Officer will perform static security duties for various high-value locations, including offices and recreational areas, ensuring that all access points are adequately secured and safeguarding property and individuals with meticulous attention to detail and safety protocols. The responsibilities outlined below represent the minimum expectations, with additional tasks specified in the site's operational guidelines.

  • Financial Insight: Comprehending company metrics while demonstrating behaviors that enhance performance. Can you fulfill your responsibilities to meet expectations and company standards?
  • Team Collaboration: Effectively communicating with clients, colleagues, and management in a timely manner, providing and receiving feedback, and following up as necessary. Can you work harmoniously within a team to achieve key objectives?
  • Task Management: Thorough understanding and execution of daily responsibilities while efficiently delivering services that align with business needs. Can you complete your assigned tasks and communicate the maintenance requirements of company assets?

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct and deliver various dedicated services that reflect the company's values and expectations, in alignment with site-specific instructions.
  • Prepare detailed and accurate reports using company technology and software during each shift, in accordance with site instructions.
  • Consistently arrive punctually for shifts, clock in and out, meet time commitments, and adhere to dress code and appearance standards.
  • Engage with both internal and external clients on-site, fostering a customer service-oriented relationship while striving to provide peace of mind.
  • Maintain regular communication with the Advanced Dedicated Officer or the Dedicated Branch Supervisor to promptly relay any client or property-related information and concerns.
  • Take responsibility for the care of any assigned Signal equipment during shifts, including radios, access keys/cards, vehicles, and devices.
  • Effectively deescalate issues through professional and timely communication.
  • Manage daily activities while meeting key performance benchmarks and expectations set by the Dedicated Branch Supervisor, such as reporting standards and service quality.
  • Collaborate with the Dedicated Branch Supervisor to receive and share information during daily briefings, ensuring operational excellence and efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Successful completion of background check and drug screening.
  • Reliable transportation is necessary.
  • Completion of training modules within the first month of employment.
  • Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to service, organizational values, and professionalism through appropriate conduct at all times.
  • Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 20 pounds.
