Key Responsibilities of the Accounts Receivable Specialist:
- Accurately apply cash payments to customer accounts in a timely manner.
- Engage in collections efforts, including reaching out to clients regarding overdue payments and addressing any inquiries.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of banking operations and protocols.
- Leverage ERP systems and Excel for effective financial data management and analysis.
- Handle customer communications and inquiries with professionalism and courtesy.
- Assist with various financial projects and perform ad-hoc tasks as needed.
- Prepare and distribute customer statements promptly.
Qualifications for the Accounts Receivable Specialist:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Experience in cash application and/or collections is advantageous.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as V-lookup and Pivot Tables.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- A strong desire to learn and adapt to new challenges.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
