Culinary Team Member

Crew Life at Sea is seeking a skilled Culinary Team Member to join our team. As a Culinary Team Member, you will be responsible for providing exceptional culinary experiences for our guests.

Requirements:
  • Recent graduates or students in post-secondary education outside of the U.S. or those who have graduated within the last 12 months are eligible to apply.
  • Alternatively, candidates with a degree or professional certificate from a foreign post-secondary institution and at least 1 year of prior related experience outside the U.S. or 5 years of experience in the field are also eligible.
  • Applicants must be at least 18 years old and have intermediate to advanced English skills.
  • A valid passport with a minimum validity of 2 years from the date of application is required.
  • A reference letter from the university is also required.
  • Documentation confirming the accreditation status of the university and a document verifying the current academic status from the university are also required.
  • Applicants who have graduated must provide a copy of their university diploma.
  • The ideal candidate will exhibit a strong work ethic, positivity, and trustworthiness.
  • Full availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, is required.
  • Prior experience in a high-volume restaurant, preferably a fine dining establishment, is also required.
  • The candidate must be able to remain calm under increasing demands, be consistent in presentation, and be receptive to coaching and feedback.
  • The ability to walk or stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation, is also required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Two years of experience in a similar role.
  • A Culinary Certificate or Degree.
  • Experience at a luxury hospitality property.
